Reminds me of the radio show “Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar.” He was a freelance insurance investigator with an “action-packed expense account.”

I’ve referenced several old radio shows here. Philip Marlowe’s fee was “$25/day plus expenses”, Richard Diamond charged “$100/day plus expenses”, and more recently on TV, Rockford’s fee was “$200/day plus expenses”.
